Volvo Deal Transforms both Ford & Geely
Ford Motor Company has sold Volvo to China’s Geely for $1.8 billion, some $4.6-billion less than it paid back in the Jacques Nasser era. Ford will complete the deal and hand over keys to the Swedish automaker and its Swedish and Belgian factories by the third quarter of this year.
